Sagie Moodley reviews the GWM P-Series – CMH Haval Little Falls.

January 26, 2021 By Rokkit

It’s been a little over a month since the initial launch of the P-Series and the excitement is still growing. The P-series is GWM’s latest offering to the bakkie market which is fiercely contested. It has the looks, features and its pricing is undoubtedly going to appeal to many South Africans But just how good is the P-series? To answer, we turned to veteran motoring TV and Radio presenter to answer some of our questions.
1.) Now that you have seen the P-Series, what was your first impression? First impressions. I like the size of the vehicle, commanding presence and is a good-looking vehicle…but there again it’s a personal choice. 2.) Given your experience with all thing’s vehicles, do you think the P-Series is serious competitor in bakkie market in SA? Is it a serious competitor??? We need to remember that the South African bakkie driver is very brand loyal, so for the P series to be competitive it has to offer a whole lot more at a very affordable price. I am happy to say that it comes pretty close with all its features. It is priced to sell. As a work horse bakkie we need to see the numbers increase on the road. 3.) What did you think of the features and ride of the P-Series? It is a great ride on the road, and I will not comment on its off-road capabilities as I did not try it under those conditions. 4.) Is there anything that you could say GWM could improve on with the P-Series? Very disappointed with its power plant. Quite slow on pull away. Needs a bigger and more powerful engine. 5.) Final question, please rate the Bakkie out of 10. 10 being a superb vehicle and 1 being a dismal box with wheels. 7/10 as a realistic rating CMH Haval Little Falls has a R30 000 trade assistance deal on the P-Series. Shop our stock at CMH Haval Little falls and get behind the wheel of the P-Series today.
